"As an adult with CMN, the Be Seen Quality Mark would have transformed my school years. It is exactly the kind of initiative that could have helped my peers and teachers grasp the unique challenges that come with having a visible difference. Participating in the Be Seen Award is vital for all schools, not just those with children who look different, but for any school striving to develop a truly inclusive community."

“It was a huge step of faith for us whenever our son started school, going from being his safe environment, always ready to answer people's questions and combat remarks, to having to trust his teachers to do this instead. Educating the school staff about CMN over the years has taken time and some creativity, however our school has always been willing to put the work in and to educate the other children about CMN and visible differences. Whenever I first told our son's school about the Be Seen Award, they knew straight away that it was consistent with their school ethos and were excited to get involved! They were especially impressed by the opportunities for growth and development that the award offers through it's pupil led tasks.”
